Every little speckle of green tea in the soap reminds of a photo taken from far away from a crowd. You know, so far away, that everyone's head looks like a little speckle dot.
That leads me to think about how every one of us makes our own decisions and can shift our choices to create an empowering world. Every day we wake up and make a decision. Are the choices you make for you? Are you deciding to take care of you?
The decisions you make in the morning can affect the day you have. After your regular routine, taking time to care for yourself is powerful. Plan morning time for a ten-minute yoga stretch, journaling, prayer, a morning mask, meditation, a run, or whatever it means to care for you.
There’s power in numbers. I believe if everyone decided to care for themselves more, they would easily and unintentionally be the light and spread positivity. You can’t pour into your children, your partner, your students, your audience, or your friends if your cup is empty. Taking care of your self is NOT selfish. It’s necessary. 𝘓𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴, 𝘪𝘧 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘭𝘦 𝘢 𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘬𝘪𝘥's 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘭𝘦 𝘢 𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴.
I believe we can love our selves harder and create beautifulness in our surroundings by doing so. I think in every little speckle dot.
